2. Data we collect
- Account data — name, email, workspace, and billing details.
- Workspace content — agents, prompts, files, and the connections you set up.
- Usage data — run logs and metrics needed to operate the service.
- Cookies — strictly necessary cookies, plus optional analytics cookies that we set only with your consent.
3. How we use your data
To run the service, keep it secure, bill you, support you, and improve it. We do not sell your data. We do not use your workspace content to train AI models.
4. Legal bases (GDPR)
Performance of contract, legitimate interest, legal obligation, and — for marketing or non-essential cookies — your explicit consent.
5. Sharing and sub-processors
We share data with vetted sub-processors (cloud hosting, email delivery, analytics, and payment processing). The current list is available on request and is updated before any material change.
6. International transfers
Where data leaves the EEA or UK, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and additional safeguards. If you run Actana on your own systems, your data stays inside your own infrastructure.
7. Retention
We keep account data for the life of your account plus a limited grace period. Run logs are retained according to your plan. Backups are rotated on a [N]-day schedule.
8. Security
We encrypt data in transit and at rest, isolate agent execution, and follow SOC 2 Type II controls. See our security page for the detail.
9. Your rights
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Email privacy@actana.ai to exercise any of these.
10. Children
Actana is not directed to children under 16.
